The proposal story (Told by Steven) “On December 10th, In Disneyland at Snow White’s wishing well. We’d always visit Snow White’s wishing well and this time we had gone with Monique’s family (brother, brother’s girlfriend, mom and dad). As we said our wishes and threw our coins into the well I said: “but wait, one of my wishes has already came true. As I told Monique how much I had dreamt of the one true love that had come into my life it was her. Telling her about how she was the one that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and how blessed I was to have such an amazing woman in my life. As I got down on one knee with her family there I knew I had made the best decision.”

There is nothing not to love about this Disney duo. Obviously, Disney is the core of their story. They go all the time, both love all things Mickey so incorporating it into their wedding day was a must! It was subtle and tasteful, but ohhhh so beautiful. Steven even mentioned in his vows what a princess Monique is and how he will always treat her as such. You might remember these two from the cute engagement session in the fields? Ya, the chemistry still off the charts.

I started my day with Steven + the boy’s in a room down the street from the venue. I headed in to see the girls when I got there after giving Monteleone a full walkthrough. The team did such an amazing job! Monique was ready, everything was chill and we started right on time. They wanted to hold off on a first look and see one another for the first time walking down the isle. I’m not mad about it! You can see Steven’s reaction below. I’ve come to know the couple over the planning process + Monique has actually been my esthetician for a long time! It was bittersweet to know her back story and see her marry her prince charming. The weather was perfect, we took full advantage of the property and danced the night away! Also, LOVED that they put a spin on the money dance by having it pinned to their bodies.

Monique + Steven will spend their honeymoon in Disneyworld of course! I’ve seen some of her stories already and am so jealous of their adventures. <3
