Proposal Told by Ariele – On March 15, 2017, Sean proposed to Ariele in our house. He came home from work and told her to sit on the couch and wait for him to come upstairs. He brought up a bright green box with a bow on it. The box had a slit in the top and there appeared to be a breathing noise coming from the box. Ariele & Sean had been talking about getting a pug for a long time and it would seem like there might be a pug puppy in the box. Ariele opened the lid and pulled out…. A FAKE STUFFED PUG. Without examining the toy too much, she complained – “WOW you got me a FAKE dog!?” She looked down and Sean was on one knee. He told her to look at the necklace. Tied around the neck was a beautiful ruby engagement ring. Sean then said “I love you so much, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?”

GAHHHHH! Ariele was one of my first brides to book me for 2019. The anticipation of waiting for this wedding was real. We bonded over our love for stepbrother’s – because I send bomb memes. We went back and forth for months getting to know each other, wishing each other happy holidays, and telling one another how much we couldn’t wait to meet in person! The day came and she was seriously the sweetest human. Just like the women I had come to know on the other end of the computer screen, just better!

All day she was so chill, we were worried about time but had plenty of it due to our excessive time management! Placing her at the first look she said “just look for a guy who looks like the Ken doll” I was like hmm ok… and up walks Sean, Mr.Ken doll himself! I was like well hot damn. You two are seriously the hottest couple! After hanging with Sean and the guys I realized he really was the perfect compliment to Ariele, learning more about them after speeches it was clear to me that their love for one another + their family and friends is one of the most genuine I’ve been privileged to photograph. Congrats again Ariele + Sean!
