Proposal Story – “Kim lost her mom 10 years ago, when she was a kid her mom would always take her to the waffle house on road trips. After her mom died she really never went even though the kids liked to go. So when we saw they did this more “fancy” Valentine’s Day dinner, we booked a reservation, and Derrick knew he wanted to give Kim back another good memory that meant so much to her. It was like having her mom there.” Kim was a widow before meeting Derrick. I’ve never ugly cried so much during a wedding or welled up on tears as I did during their wedding day. Between the vows – there was NO dry eye in the place. + the speeches/thank yous they shared with everyone in attendance/by their side. PLUS the swaaaaag of this groom + group is unmatched. We did a ceremony at Taco Bell Cantina, kept it fun with a flower boy, and then did some romantics downtown.
