Proposal Story – Christmas 2019 Andrew & I took our first long distance road trip from NY to FL (where Tatyana is from, and we both have family there) to celebrate the holidays. It was a fun trip, but we were done by the end of it.

Our first morning in FL Andrew suggests that since we’ll be spending the whole vacation visiting family & friends around the city, the two of us should spend just this one day going around to all of our old favorite spots (mostly parks/ beaches to walk the dog & lots of restaurants). We started first at our favorite park, Tree Tops- where they have this huge treehouse in the middle of the park with nice views & we’d go up there all the time. So we climb up, it’s like 4 stories, we get to the top, and Andrew is completely out of breath (or so I thought). Giving Andrew some space to collect himself, I goes to the other side of the treehouse checking out the views. By the time I turned around, Andrew was already down on one knee with a beautiful gold diamond ring waiting! How long was he waiting, I have no idea but I was shocked!!! After trying to pinch myself awake, I said yes! And the adventure for the day continued as we dined at some of our favorite restaurants and were surrounded by all of our favorite people as they wished us well. 🙂

Talk about a classic Vegas-style elopement. In an old Cadillac (baby blue of course) drive-through wedding at the world famous little white chapel, followed by some romantic pics in DTLV. Roll one up, pass it around baby!
