Well, I keep up more on social media than I do on my website. But it’s fair to say I want to make a proper intro to new couples who might be considering me for their wedding + give all of my current clients the low down for those who care. 2020 was absolutely insane (besides COVID) I got rid of my cute little condo, Jake and I decided that we were going to renovate his family home and make it our own. Boy was this a huge undertaking (still is) I promise to get around on posting some before and afters for those who care. We redid the floors, painted literally everything, redid the master bath completely, and gave the guest bath a facelift as well. Shortly after starting the massive projects, I found out I was pregnant. We kept it on the DL and decided to tell our friends and family. We wanted to share a small wedding with them before the baby arrived, so I planned our entire wedding in a month. I will also be sharing this process in the near future. Call it a shotgun wedding if you will, I know many were surprised! But your girl is self employed and she needed his union insurance… HAHAH! We have been together for years, it was time. But the baby was the push we needed for sure. We shared our big day with just about 50 family members and close friends (thanks COVID) and I honestly wouldn’t have had it any other way. Maybe other than being able to drink?! But I was 14 weeks by time the big day came. Shortly after the wedding, we found out we are expecting a baby boy! The name will be announced after the baby shower. We both said we didn’t care the gender, but after finding out we were both so excited. I’m for sure a boy mom (at least for our first) I was the oldest/only girl so I was really hoping it was a boy! Seems like pregnancy has just flown by. I’m due April 23rd and have been getting all of my ducks in a row for the beautiful and talented Heather Taylor to take over for my spring couples. I’m honestly so excited to embark on this new journey and introduce the world to our little babe + become a mom! I appreciate all of my clients love and understanding, checking on me, and so many well wishes. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better job. Enjoy some photos!
