Proposal Story – 4 months before our “official” engagement David and I were in Vegas for a convention. While we were enjoying a day free we went swimming and day drinking at our hotel, SLS. I am not a fan of swimming at all so David was holding me and floating me around the pool. All of a sudden he told me he had a secret to tell me. I was worried because this is unusual. Then he told me “I am going to ask you to be my wife on your birthday.” (which was 4 months away). I instantly started balling like a baby and thanking him. We celebrated with some Hennessey XO by the pool.
For our official engagement David through a parking lot party at our bar with one of my favorite local bands to celebrate my birthday and officially get on one knee. Of course, I cried again even though I and many other people knew it was happening. It was amazing!

Vegas was obviously a special place for them, so it was a no brainer to decide where they wanted to elope. It also helped that Guns and Roses were playing in town and they decided to combine all of their favorite things into one rad weekend. So glad I got to run around town chasing them and their closest friends at the bars and murals.
