Proposal Story told by Michelle – We are complete homebodies, bordering on antisocial when it’s not with people we aren’t close to. It was the Friday of the Canada Day long weekend, which meant anywhere we would normally go to go fishing and have a quiet fire would be bonkers, but we wanted to get out of the house and do something anyway. Jason works out in the bush, about 45 minutes down a logging road, so we headed out that way. In the absolute middle of nowhere, we pull up to a little overgrown driveway that leads to a rickety looking bridge over a creek. Over the bridge is a tiny hunting/trapping cabin that has been all locked up for the season, but has an awesome firepit and a shed full of firewood. He built us a fire, made some dinner, brought my favorite wine and we just sat around the fire talking, listening to music and then when our song came on, he got down on one knee and proposed. I knew it was coming, we had already booked the wedding and I designed the ring, but I didn’t expect it that night and it was so perfectly us, I couldn’t have asked for a better moment.

These two picked their 4 year anniversary to get married on! As Michelle said, she had been planning the wedding and life gave the two a little extra special surprise (a baby girl on the way) with everything planned out already, I assured Michelle she was going to still be the most beautiful bride and she absolutely was. Vegas is one of their favorite places to travel together too (they live in Canada) So naturally, Vegas was the destination spot for them including their friends and family. We started our day with everyone at the Smith Center, landed with just the 3 of us at Neon Museum and they ended their day in the chapel of the Aria. Congrats again to Michelle + Jason!
